Henri Oguike Dance Company 2010/11

Joule was delighted to be asked back to work with the Henri Oguike Dance Company - this time commissioned to realise an unusual and beautiful water based set for the for 'Freq'- 1 of 3 new pieces forming 'Butterfly Dreaming'- touring the UK in 2010 and 2011.

Joule designed and built an acclaimed set featuring various fully controllable water effects which enable the creation of solid 'walls' of water, square, triangular or circular 'rooms', mist, single drip / jet etc. In the piece a single dancer interacts with the constantly changing water effects in a "mysterious and audacious solo….a beautifully shaped work that in its poise and vision bypassed gimmickry". (The Times).
