Lansbury Festival 2001

Children with banners

Joule began work on the Lansbury Estate for the Festival of Britain Celebrations. Highlights included a light display designed by Jonathan Park; a French avant guard performance in the heart of Chrisp Street market; and coordination with the Architecture Foundation to produce a conference in the local church.

The 1951 Lansbury Estate is a famous architectural example of estate design, and an aim of the event was to rekindle pride in place among its residents.
