The Mayor's Thames Festival 2010

Joule was delighted to be offered two separate roles for the Thames Festival- London's largest free outdoor arts festival.

The main stage at Shoreditch Festival

A River Enquiry: Joule provided production management for A River Enquiry, part of The Mayor's Thames Festival, at London City Bridge Pier, Potters Fields Park & HMS Belfast. Home Live Art commissioned three new pieces of work by artists Amy Sharrocks, Search Party and Tim Etchells (from Forced Entertainment). Using the River Thames as a point of reference, a resource and a location, each artist created a temporary work exploring our relationship to the river, through performance, text and action.

Feast On The Bridge: Joule programmed the live music for this wonderful event, which takes over the whole of Southwark Bridge- closed for the day.

'Feast on the Bridge is about bringing people together in celebration to share food, to talk, to dance and to reclaim a beautiful public space in the heart of the city.'  Clare Patey – Curator, Feast on the Bridge

Feast on the Bridge, London's most inspiring and spectacular food event, returned to Southwark Bridge for a fourth year. As well as delicious food from some of the UK 's best sustainable producers, there were workshops, baking, live music, dancing and making merry!
