Overture – Re-opening of the Royal Festival Hall 2007

June 2007 saw the Royal Festival Hall throw open its doors to an eager public to celebrate the £110 million re-fit with 48 hours of performance. Overture was attended by 250,000 people across the weekend, and provided Joule with its most exciting challenge to date. Joule's role was the stage management of 10,000 artists, ensuring the 48-hour event programme ran to time across 10 sites within the 23 acres of the Southbank. Joule worked with a large team to ensure the event ran smoothly and safely, both front and back of house. The event was felt by all to be a remarkable and memorable achievement.
